Kelly Miller is a Mezzo Soprano with Degrees in Voice from Adelphi and Binghamton University. Kelly has taught at many levels from kindergarten to college. She has a background in Musical Theater as a performer and director but is currently pursuing a career in Opera. She believes in building a solid technique for her students by tailoring lessons to fit and provide support and positivity throughout the learning process.

Kelly Miller has experience fostering a love of music with students of all ages and abilities. She has refined her technique with beginner piano students as young as 4. She focuses on making lessons fun and engaging while encouraging an appreciation for music.

"I’ve had Kelly Miller as a vocal instructor for about 4 years and a musical theater director for one year. She’s a fantastic teacher who really understands the techniques for singing and how to help. Kelly is the type of teacher who cares about her students and will try all different ways to get the best sound out of you. I started at 13 years old and now at 18 years old, I can hear and feel how much Kelly has helped me to sing properly. One lesson in particular was Kelly hearing a shift in my voice and worked with me to get the center of my sound back which was awesome. Some teachers only stick with one style of teaching, but Kelly saw how I learn best by visuals, so she taught me through that. Kelly and I worked with all different genres of music to sing and for all of them she was passionate. With theater, Kelly is a fun director, but gets the work done. We would play games in class but Kelly knows to reel it in to rehearse and is always there to help. All in all, Kelly is a great teacher if you’re serious about singing, and I would recommend her to anyone looking to improve their skills as a singer."
